Review: Ichiban Boshi (Punggol Waterway Point)

Ichiban Boshi (Punggol Waterway Point)

Punggol Waterway Point
83 Punggol Central, #B1-19, Singapore 828761

Many branches around Singapore, some of the branch have their own Specialty menus. Simply a place to go for fuss free meal with healthy price list.

Amaebi Karaage ($6.90)

A must order for me, so crispy that you won't stop munching it. Best to pair it with a mug of ice cold beer.
Little tips: They serve this with mayo. Add some wasabi to the mayo and you get a mayo wasabi!

Taste: 8/10

Sansai Ebi Kakiage & Asari Tempura ($8.90)

Sansai Ebi Kakiage & Asari Tempura from the seasonal Spring Menu. What this is prawn with assorted vegetables tempura, cherry tomato tempura & clams tempura. Nothing special. Sansai Ebi Kakiage fall apart easily.

Taste: 4/10

Hokkaido Kaisen Roll ($14.90)

Hokkaido Ryori is the Specialty Menus for Punggol Waterway Point branch, so this can only be found in Punggol Waterway Point branch. This dish have so much similarly with the Rainbow Roll from Sushi Tei.
Taste: 7/10

Spicy Ten Don ($14.90)

In the bowl: 4 Ebi, Poached Egg, Half Lady Finger & a slice of Eggplant.
All done in Tempura.
Ten don come with a miso soup as well. Although it's called Spicy Ten Don, I don't taste any spicy in the sauce. Ebi Tempura is good but some tempura became soft due to the sauce.

Taste: 7/10
