Review: Treasure Yi Dian Xin - Dim Sum

Treasure Yi Dian Xin by Imperial Treasure

Paragon #B1-08, 290 Orchard Rd

I'm always a fan of Imperial Treasure.  They served good Chinese cuisine & come with very good table service but the price will be on the higher side.

Soy Sauce Chicken Noodle ($11.80)

Excellent thin & springy egg noodles, fully absorbed the sweet sauce. Chicken is tender & juicy with nice soy sauce aroma.
Taste 8/10

Century Egg & Lean Meat Congee 皮蛋瘦肉粥 ($10.80)

My all time favorite!! You won't see the rice in the Congee, The taste is so satisfying when the thick and smooth congee slide down your throat.
Taste 10/10

Steamed Salted Yolk Black Custard Bun ($6.60)

Look so pretty with a stripe of gold on top of the bun. Sinking your teeth into the soft bun with the sweet & creamy custard oozing into your mouth really feel heavenly.
Taste 9.5/10

Siew Mai ($6.80)

You will know a restaurant sell good dim sum, when they serve good siew mai.
Siew mai meat is firm & juicy and do not have pork smell.
Taste 8/10

Baked BBQ Pork Pastry ($6.30)

Nice sweet crispy outer layer with sweet & juicy cha siew(BBQ Pork) filling.
Taste 8/10

Steamed Chicken Feet with Black Bean Sauce ($6.00)

The skin is soft and fall off from the bone easily and the sauce is on the sweet side.
Taste 6.5/10

Deep Fried Porcupine Bun with Red Bean Paste ($6.60)

Cute little dim sum that you won't bear to eat. The bun were deep fried till golden & crispy and the red bean filling is smooth and not too sweet
Taste 7/10

Overall it's a good dining experience with a lot of delicious dim sum prepared with effort & quality ingredients.
