Review: Boat Noodle SG

Boat Noodle SG

Bugis Junction, 200 Victoria St, #02-46, Singapore188021

People have been telling me that Boat noodles are cheap. Only $1.50 per bowl.
From what I see, it's very expensive. $1.50 for just a mouthful... and if you eat 6 bowls to fill you up, it's gonna cost you $9 already...

Nevertheless, as long as you enjoy the food it's ok to pay a little more hahaha.

The boat noodles here come in 4 flavors:

Pathumthani - Broth made from sweet dark sauce & herbs, taste heavy with strong herbs aroma

Ayutthaya - The broth contained coconut milk, taste a bit spicy & heavier.

Creamy Tom Yum - Creamy, sweet & slightly spicy, serves with few pieces of fried wanton skin

Sweet Kuey Chap -Sweet tasting broth with mild herbs aroma.

You're also able to choose between Chicken or Beef & Glass noodle or Springy Noodle.

Personally, I would prefer the Creamy Tom Yum over the rest of the flavors.
Before I forget ro mention, it's Halal certified.

Apart from the boat noodles, there are other mains & sides to order as well.

Som Tam Thai ($4.90)

Crunchy Thai Popeye's Tempura ($4.90)

You won't be as strong as Popeye after eating this, but for people who don't like greens, it does make your greens taste better. Dip it with the nice dipping sauce for some richness in taste.

Fried Chicken Skin ($3.90)

Very nice crispy snack which will make you forget about cholesterol.

Thai Fried Chicken ($8.90)

Nice crispy skin & juicy meat. The skin tasted the same as Chicken Skin.

Flame Grilled Ayam ($9.90)

Nicely grilled chicken that's lightly charred on the outside, tender & juicy inside.

Hot Steamy Sangkayaa ($4.90)

Dessert time!! Who will resist some sweet stuff after a meal of Thai food?
Warm & soft white bread dip into smooth, aromatic kaya. This dish is a Winner.
