Review: Frienzie Bar & Bistro (Punggol)

Frienzie Bar & Bistro (Punggol)
10 Tebing Lane #01-02 Punggol, Singapore 828836

Frienzie Nachos

Sitting in a corner of Punggol. Along a stretch of Greenery & "River",  lies a Bar & Bistro serving Western & Local Cuisine.

Many came here after work to chill & relax over a beer.

Beer

Nice place to have a beer, some bar snacks with beautiful greens around you.

Frienzie Nachos ($11.90)

Nachos served with Tomato Salsa & Guacamole, topped with Black Olive, Cherry Tomato, Jalapeno & Cheese sauce.

Taste: 7/10

Char-Grilled Marinated Chicken Thigh ($18.90)

Char grilled Chicken thigh served Mashed Potato, Vegetable & Mushroom Sauce.
I do find the chicken too oily for my liking. Mashed Potato is smooth but quite bland.

Taste: 6/10

Nasi Goreng Ayam ($14.90)

I just can't resist to order Indonesia style Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) when I see one. From the Menu it mentioned that it's Sambal Fried Rice, but I do not taste the Sambal. Just able to taste a bit of spiciness. The taste more toward a strong hint of Kecap Manis (Indonesian Sweet Sauce) Overall the Taste is nice.

The Shrimp Paste Chicken Wing is nice. Crispy wing with strong aroma from the shrimp paste.

Taste:8/10

Overall a nice place to dine in or chill over a few beers with friends. Only complaint will be sometime there are planes flying by and can be quite loud.
